Just a nice clean shot of a few of the new Blue Line Plate Aerators being delivered to the Leander WWTP.
All 72 plates will be configured in custom-designed drop-in frames rather than the floor-mounted option due to the basin dimensions and depth. Each frame is constructed of the typical 316 stainless steel. Each frame will have 3 plates then each frame will be bolted together to form a single 18-plate assembly.
The new Blue Line Plate Aerators are more durable and efficient than the original style with the new HPTPU membrane. This new membrane is much stronger while increasing performance for a better cost-effective design.

After all of the COVD chaos, things are slowly returning to normal.
With a long year of crunching away and working hard on the latest improvement project for Jonah SUD, we are looking forward to the project’s completion.
This project was fairly straightforward with a design and supply of 75 floor-mounted plate aerators in the newly constructed tank for the 1331 Pump Station.

Iron Bridge WRF - Diffused Aeration Replacement
Oviedo, Florida
We had another successful installation, inspection and start-up of our Plate Aerators in the fourth and final aeration train at the Iron Bridge WWTP for the City of Orlando, Florida.
With the assistance of Tetra Tech, Wharton-Smith and City of Orlando Staff, all aeration basins are fully equipped and operational.
Wharton-Smith installed 480 Plate Aerators in June of 2019 and completed the project late November of this year. All despite the pandemic slowing all parts of the procurement. That is a huge accomplishment!
The PB staff is very pleased to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this project.

Train 2 of Plate Aerators as the Iron Bridge WWTP in Oviedo, Florida has been successfully dry and wet inspected and started up. We were pleased to be able to travel to the site this go around. It was a pleasure meeting the team members involved and seeing train 1 operating as expected. Glad we could get the plant the product they needed to operate and process at full capacity while keeping costs done. Texas Water Virtual has officially launched!
We are having to do things completely different this year with doing the virtual show. We will still be sharing a "booth" with all the same as previous years. However, all the information is posted within our reps booth. Environmental Treatment Technologies will be in booth 1504. Please visit their booth for all the available information and ways to reach out to communicate with a team member. We will be raffling off the custom remote controlled cooler for those who visit and schedule a chat session with one of the E.T.T team members. We are pleased to say we and the plant operators at the Iron Bridge WWTP in Florida had a successful dry inspection and clean water test on the recently installed plate aerators.With the whole world basically on pause, our team and those working on the plant site in Florida pushed on. Together we came up with new ways to communicate and get everyone trained prior to the inspection and test day. Due to the inability to travel to the plant, our process engineer was able to successfully deliver a training video for the plant operators. This video allowed the team on site to learn everything they needed to properly inspect and run the clean water test.
We are very pleased with the outcome and success of the installation of the plate aerators. Thank you everyone involved. Thank you for being flexible and willing to help come up with ways to work while we are unable to operate normally. It has been a real team effort from all parties involved.

WEFTEC 2018
WEFTEC was a huge hit this year in New Orleans. We shared our booth space with G-H Systems. We had the honor of hosting Bart and Willem Brandt from Bosman Water Management, they came all the way from the Netherlands to help promote the Plate Aerator. Huge thanks to those guys! Glad we could all attend and make an appearance at WEFTEC this year. It is always a good time meeting and connecting with everyone, as well as seeing familiar faces and friends. Well, Texas Water conference has come and gone once again. It turned out to be a really great time and opportunity to showcase our products, skills, and professionalism. Driving around the cooler collecting business cards for a winner was a blast with all positive reactions. PB Equipment has successfully replaced the Brownwood, Texas WWTP surface aeration system with Bosman® Plate Aerators™. This retrofit of a 4.5 MGD municipal wastewater treatment facility with our premier fine bubble aeration system effectively doubles the plant's capacity for the same horsepower, adds effective biological nutrient reduction capability, and greatly improves the operability of the entire plant.
