Plant-Duty gates are specifically engineered for the most severe service in water and wastewater treatment plants. All Plant-Duty gates provide heavy duty construction for years and years of dependable service. We manufacture them using TFE-clad neoprene J-bulb seals, UHME PE bearing strips, and all stainless steel fasteners and hardware. Outside bearing housings are powder coated for extra corrosion protection. They are available with standard manual hand crank operator or with the optional heavy-duty electric gear motor operator package. Very little maintenance is required to keep these units ready to work when you need them.
Plant-Duty downward opening weir gates are designed with the following features:
- Dual non-rising stems are completely out of the flow to prevent catching debris.
- Thick neoprene rubber seal.
Plant-Duty upward opening sluice gates are designed with the following features:
- Single or dual non-rising stem(s) depending on the application.
- Anti-tilt guides on single stem units to prevent gate slide tilt.
Your Options Are:
- Gate position indicator manufactured with a stainless steel indicator rod and an accurate, easy to read enamel coated witness gauge that won’t deteriorate over time.
- Electric motor operator with “Up-Down” control panel featuring VFD speed control and protection. Gear motor unit is specially equipped for severe environments and years of trouble free service.
